This Privacy Policy describes how Camini ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Android application and website at camini.app. By using Camini, you agree to the terms described below.
1 Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Information you provide directly:
- Account information — name, email address, and country when you register.
- Photos — images you choose to upload or capture for AI transformation.
- Communications — messages you send to our support team.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data — features used, styles selected, generation counts, and in-app events (via Firebase Analytics).
- Device information — device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers.
- Crash reports — error logs to help us fix bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics).
- Purchase history — subscription and top-up transactions processed via Google Play.
2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Camini app and website.
- Process and deliver AI art transformations using your photos.
- Manage your account, credits, and subscriptions.
- Send you service-related communications (e.g. verification emails, support responses).
- Analyse usage trends to improve app performance and add new features.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
3 Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Google (Firebase & Gemini AI) — for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and AI image generation. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by these services.
- Google Play — for payment processing. We do not receive your full card details.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
- Business transfers — if Camini is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
4 Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile and associated data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it longer.
Photos uploaded for transformation are not stored on our servers after the AI processing is complete.
5 Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain types of processing.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. For other requests, contact us at info@camini.app.
6 Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules, and Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorised API access.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
7 Children's Privacy
Camini is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
